32 and Counting...

Well, we have made it another week!  Each week at this point is a major accomplishment! We are still hoping for another 2 to 4 weeks, my personal goal is to get to September 1st! That would just be shy of 36 weeks!

We had another doctor's appointment yesterday and everything is looking GREAT.  He is so happy with how well I am doing and how well the boys are growing!  They are all in the 50th percentile for their weights. Their current weights are:
Baby A: 4 lbs 2 oz
Baby B: 4 lbs 4 oz
Baby C: 4 lbs 4 oz

With everyday that passes, I seem to get bigger and more and more uncomfortable! But for everyday that passes, that is another day they are "cooking" and that is better for them in the long run! I have pure will power at this point to get as far as I can! I really want them to be as healthy as they can!

I know many of you have asked to see more pictures and as much as I HATE having my picture taken at this point (because I feel like a beached whale) I know this amazing miracle is something that needs to be documented so below are a few more pictures!!

Be sure to check back next week for another update!

31 and Counting

Well we had another check up this week. My doctor was on vacation this week so he sent me to the high risk doctor. Nothing is wrong, before anyone starts to wonder! My doctor just thought this doctor would be the next best doctor to see while he was out of town, in case something went wrong! He did not do a full ultrasound so we don't know how much the boys have grown, they just checked their heart rates and everything is still looking great!!

So, this week's post does not have a lot of info, but just know that I am still hanging in there and just trying to go another 4 to 6 weeks!

Hope everyone is having a great summer and enjoying the last few weeks before the kids have to go back to school!!

We are looking forward to see how big the boys are next week!! Check back next week for more updates!!

Major Milestone - 30 weeks!!

Well we have done it! We have made it to 30 weeks!! ;)

We have had two doctor's appointments since my last post (sorry for not posting after last appointment). Things are looking so great!  The doctor is SO happy with how well things are going!

Last week's appointment (29 weeks) everything was looking great.  The boys are growing wonderfully:
Baby A: 2 lbs 13 oz
Baby B: 2 lbs 13 oz
Baby C: 3 lbs 3 oz

This week's appointment (30 weeks) still growing great:
Baby A: 3 lbs
Baby B: 3 lbs 3 oz
Baby C: 3 lbs 5 oz

The doctor is VERY happy with how well I am doing and how well the boys are growing! He did give me another steroid boost this week and plans on giving me another one at 34 weeks. We did talk about the chances of going past 34 weeks and he said that we will just take everything one week at a time, but the longer we can go the healthier the babies will be. If things continue as well as they have been going then we will probably be able to go past 34 weeks!

The doctor was so happy with how well things are going, he actually let me go out to dinner to get out of the house for one night!  So Keith and I went on a date!  It was so nice to actually have a meal outside of the house, but half way through dinner I got pretty tired so as soon as we got home I was back on the couch laying down! But it was still nice to have a meal out!!

I know many of you have asked for more pictures!  So as requested here are a few more pictures!

We are very thankful to all of you that are keeping up with us! We appreciate all of the support and prayers that everyone has been sending!  Please know how much it means to Keith and I and our entire families!  We are so blessed to have such great friends and family!!

YAY, Week 28!!

Well, we have made it another week!  I had another doctor's appointment last week and we are all doing great!  I did not get actual measurements of each of the boys but the doctor said that they are all between 2 and 2 1/2 pounds! That makes for a VERY happy mommy and daddy!  They are doing so well and we could not be happier!  They decided to give me a steroid shot at this appointment, this will help boost their lungs since we know they will be born early. They have talked about giving me another round of them at week 30, but we will wait to see what happens! Still seeing the doctor every two weeks for now, but after next appointment will probably go to seeing him every week!  We are still hoping to get me to 34 weeks, that is the ultimate goal! I am doing everything I can to help with that, which means I don't do much! I think we have been more strict about my bed rest than the doctor has been, but he agrees that what ever I am doing is working so keep doing it!

We had to make another trip to Labor and Delivery over the weekend! I had been having some contractions through out the weekend and could usually get them to stop, but Sunday night that was not the case. I could not get them to subside for anything so we wanted to be safe than sorry! They did confirm that I was having some contractions but everything looked good and they did a test to make sure I was not in preterm labor and I was not so they sent me home! I am not doing much these days, but we have all decided that full bed rest will be best! The doctor has not said that yet, but I will do just about anything to keep them in there! I really want to get to 34 weeks and if doing NOTHING will help that, than I will do that! Hopefully we won't have any more issues, but I am sure something else will come up!

We appreciate all the support and prayers that everyone is sending us! We are SO blessed to have such great friends and family!! We love you all!

Another week down and still doing great!

We had another doctor's appointment this week and everything is still looking great!  The boys are growing great and the doctor is very happy with how well everyone is doing.  Current weights:
Baby A: 1 lb 13 oz
Baby B: 1 lb 13 oz
Baby C: 1 lb 14 oz

The doctor says that the babies weights are in the 55th percentile for their weight, which is VERY good! As of right now I am not of full bed rest but they told me to start limiting things and not to do to much. So I guess I am on modified bed rest!  I pretty much stay at home and sit on the couch these days!  We are so blessed to be home with our families that they are helping out with Danielle so I don't have to do as much! We do not know what we would do without the support of EVERYONE!

Since our last post big sister Danielle had her first dance recital.  She did GREAT!  Below is a picture of our little ballerina!!

I feel like I am growing by the day! I know many people are curious as to how big I am getting so I have included some new pictures! To look at me you would not know that I am carrying multiples, you would just think I am closer to delivery! These pictures were taken at 25 weeks pregnant!

Growing great!

We had another doctor's appointment this week and the boys are doing great!  They did confirm again that all three of them are boys!!  They are growing great right now, the doctor did say that their growth will slow down because they will run out of room. Right now they are growing at the same rate as a single baby. Their current weights are:
Baby A: 1 lb 5oz
Baby B: 1 lb 5 oz
Baby C:1 lb 6 oz

The bigger that they get the more movements I am feeling!  Still kind of weird to be getting kicked in so many different spots!!  Keith has been able to start feeling them kick and he thinks it's awesome to feel all 3 of them!

The doctor did not put me on bed rest yet, but my time is very limited. I figure by about my next appointment I will. I am very limited on what I can do during a day, since I get so tired during the day I try to only do one thing a day. Makes for some pretty boring days at home!  Danielle has been a pretty good trooper up to this point, let's just hope she continues to be this good for the remainder of the time! Probably not likely with a 3 year old!

The boys got their first stuffed animals from their Uncle Kevin and Aunt Kirsten a couple of weeks ago!  How fitting, Right??

Hope you look forward to the next post!

Week 21 and still going strong!

Well, we had a small scare last weekend. I was having some small cramping so we went to the hospital just to check to make sure everything was okay.  They did an ultrasound to check on the boys and everything looked fine so they sent me home. We finally got a good picture of all three of them, getting them all in one picture is sometimes VERY hard, but we finally got one!

We had another doctor's visit this week and the boys are doing great!  The fluid levels around all three boys is great and there weights are PERFECT. The doctor said they are measuring just about the same that a singleton would be measuring at 21 weeks. Baby A is measuring 15 oz; Baby B is measuring 15 oz and Baby C is measuring 17 oz. The doctor measured me and I am measuring at what a 36 week single pregnancy would be measuring.  I am getting bigger by the day, but I guess that is what happens with 3 in there!!

The doctor is very happy with how well I am doing and now we just take it week by week and keep them in there as LONG as possible. The longer they can stay in the healthier they will be.  Their goal is to get me to 34 weeks, but we will just have to wait and see how things progress.

Here is a picture of the top of all three of their heads.  Trip C is kind of blurry, but it is there.

Half Way There!!

Well, I have hit the 20 week or half way mark!  Pretty sure I won't make it the whole way, but every week is an accomplishment!!  I think I am really starting to feel the pains of carring 3 babies.  I feel like I am growing by leaps and bounds everyday, I can only imagine what the next few weeks will bring! The boys are really starting to move ALOT! It is totally weird to feel 3 of them moving around!  I have been busy working at my part time job this week, since my time is very limited. We are all still getting use to the news but I think it is starting to set in and we are gearing up and getting ready for these little miracles!  Danielle is excited about being a big sister but I am not really sure she understands what it means to be having 3 baby brothers.  She is so cute though when she tells us there are 3 babies in mommy's belly.  Boy is she in for a shock when they all come home and then as they get bigger, she will be completly out numbered!!  But she will always be our little princess in a house full of boys!!

We just want to thank everyone for their love and support already and the boys are not even here yet!  We are truely blessed to have such great family and friends!

I thought I would post a picture of what I look like!  I know you may think that I am not that big yet, but this is only at 20 weeks!  I will post more pictures as the bigger I get!

Shocking Suprise!!

I am pregnant with my second pregnancy and am currently 19 weeks. We went for our first ultrasound to find out what gender our second baby was going to be and by surprise we found out that we are having TRIPLETS (which are all boys)! It was a complete shock to us since this is completely natural and we were not taking any fertility drugs. My OB/GYN said that he has been in pratice for 13 years and I am his second case of "spontaneous" triplets!  As you can imagine both Keith and I were VERY SHOCKED!!  We were happy to add just one more baby to our family to make a happy little family of four, and now we will be a happy BIG family of 6. My approximate due date is October 4th, but the doctor's hope is that we can get the babies to at least 29 weeks, which will put us towards the end of July (WOW, that seems so close). I am hoping to keep them in as long as I possibly can. Of course we worry that if they come at 29 weeks, what types of health problems that will mean, but we have trust in God that he blessed us with these three babies that he will be there to protect them and keep them safe!  Since there are so many wonderful people in our lives we figured this might be the best way to keep everyone up to date on the progress of the pregnancy and the babies!  Watch for updated posts! We appreciate all of you and the support you have already shown us!  Keep us in your prayers!
