I am pregnant with my second pregnancy and am currently 19 weeks. We went for our first ultrasound to find out what gender our second baby was going to be and by surprise we found out that we are having TRIPLETS (which are all boys)! It was a complete shock to us since this is completely natural and we were not taking any fertility drugs. My OB/GYN said that he has been in pratice for 13 years and I am his second case of "spontaneous" triplets! As you can imagine both Keith and I were VERY SHOCKED!! We were happy to add just one more baby to our family to make a happy little family of four, and now we will be a happy BIG family of 6. My approximate due date is October 4th, but the doctor's hope is that we can get the babies to at least 29 weeks, which will put us towards the end of July (WOW, that seems so close). I am hoping to keep them in as long as I possibly can. Of course we worry that if they come at 29 weeks, what types of health problems that will mean, but we have trust in God that he blessed us with these three babies that he will be there to protect them and keep them safe! Since there are so many wonderful people in our lives we figured this might be the best way to keep everyone up to date on the progress of the pregnancy and the babies! Watch for updated posts! We appreciate all of you and the support you have already shown us! Keep us in your prayers!

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited you are going to have a blog so we can follow you all and your new additions! I haven't been able to stop thinking about you all since I saw the news on FB.... I simply cannot imagine three babies at once, but I also know that they couldn't have better parents or a better big sis!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I know babies being born so early is scary given the risks, but I have complete faith that your three boys will be absolutely perfect! I was born at 28 weeks back in 1978, and I have been blessed with great health ever since. I have no doubt that your little ones will too!
Lots of love and hugs from the Stansburys!
Oh you guys.. I am been very excited since you told me the other night. There is a reason for everything and I am sure there is a reason for this too.
ReplyDeleteTrust that your babies have been being taken care of since before you knew there were so many of them. :)
I look forward to catching up with you after your new little blessings make their appearance. So happy for all of you and keeping you in my prayers! :)
Holy cow! So super excited for you guys and this new adventure :) And I can NOT believe that D. is three years old! You all look great :)
